Large-size polymer concrete tanks are products that have proved themselves in industry as production electrolytic cells for non-metal refining processes. Many companies decide to purchase such tanks, since their design and exceptional resistance to chemical corrosion makes them a very durable product, meeting the expectations of demanding customers even under particularly difficult operating conditions.

Technology

The technology used to manufacture large polymer concrete tanks and cells is a composite technology based on vinylester resin and quartz aggregates. It has been specifically designed to ensure the highest chemical resistance and mechanical strength.

Large polymer concrete cells are monolithically cast in a single production process. These tanks have an integrated technological installation specific for the electrolysis process. As a standard, they are equipped with the necessary elements for pouring the electrolyte and draining the electrolyte and sludge. Each project is developed individually, according to our customer needs.

Tanks are surface-reinforced with layers of glass-resin laminate, which significantly extends their service life and improves their aesthetics. Large tanks are delivered to customers in Poland and abroad. Currently, we have customers in four continents and representatives in five continents.

Testing

During the production cycle, tanks are tested through different processes in order to ensure their reliability in industrial operation. After having produced thousands of electrolysis tanks, SYTEC has been able to refine its production processes. The products are subjected to a constant evaluation not only for passive and dynamic loads, but also for the so-called transient loads which occur during operation and use of the product.
